Cultivar: Lombart's Weeping for Hamamelis vernalis

'Lombart's Weeping' - plant is quite unique among witchhazels, it matures to form a small tree (to 6' tall) with branches that weep to the ground; blooms orange-red early in the season (January to March) 'Sandra' - A selection most noted for its orange-red bright fall color, although this trait seems to be more pronounced in northern locations and may vary yearly. The flowers are bright yellow in spring. Emerging leaves are said to carry a purplish overlay, as well.
