Cultivars

A particularly diverse genus with many confusingly similar species. Both shrub and tree forms exist and multi-stem or single stem varieties are available. All species produce edible fruits, however some are more palatable/productive than others. A. alnifolia is a shrub form species with cultivars that are particularly cold hardy (generally to Zone 2 or 3).
